Information notice for investigator sites

Median Technologies processes data to manage the participants in clinical trials. This includes managing contact lists, education, assessment and establishing statistics regarding the participants.

The processing is based on the legitimate interests of Median Technologies in coordinating the clinical trials on behalf of its clients.

The data were provided to us by the promotor of the study or their CRO and are accessible in-house by the departments involved in managing the pictures from clinical trials and kept for 25 years after the end of the study. The data are also available outside the company to Median Technologies’ clients for the relevant study as well as the technical service providers in charge of hosting and transferring data, and for computer maintenance.

The information may require some data to be transferred outside the EU to clients, Group subsidiaries of Median Technologies in the USA or China, and their data hosts.
In any event the standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission are applicable to these entities.

Pursuant to the French Data Protection Act (French Law of 6 January 1978 as amended and European Regulation 2016/679, known as the GDPR), you have a right to access, correct and to object to the processing of your data due to your specific position, a right to restrict the processing and to the erasure of your data under the European Regulation.

Median reserves the right to ask you to provide proof of your identity. You also have a right to appeal to the competent data protection authority (the CNIL in France).
